Abstract

The study adopted a 2x2x2 quasi-experimental pretest, post-test control group design. Two hundred senior secondary school one (SSI) students were sampled randomly from two secondary schools in Ekiti South West Local Government Area of Ekiti State. Two hypotheses were generated and tested at 0.05 significant level and the anxiety targeted was on tests .The behaviour modification technique used was Systematic Desensitization Therapy The results of the study showed that subjects exposed to Systematic Desensitization displayed a lower level of test anxiety than those that were not exposed to it. Appropriate recommendations were made by the researchers.
